She entered into an intensive Oriental Medicine study program exclusive to Shiatsu Shin Tai at the International School of Shiatsu.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;Beverley established Creative Human Potential - a practice founded on the synthesis of Zen Shiatsu, Shin Tai and body mind energetics, combining this with her own innovative concepts regarding the modern body mind complex and holistic lifestyle.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Synchronously, Beverley developed a series of specialized exercise programs, she has entitled "Chop Wood Carry Water". It’s no different for Pattenden, a progressive thinker, who believes that the key to achieving harmony is less about striving for perfection and more about simply engaging. An interest in drawing as a child became a full-blown love affair as a student at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art. We tap into our innate awareness. We start to eat different foods, think different thoughts and make different lifestyle choices.”&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: #f3f3f3; font-family: &amp;quot;Courier New&amp;quot;,Courier,monospace; font-size: large;"&gt;The goal of Shiatsu Shin Tai therapy is to create relaxation and space within the body and the mind, which, in turn, encourage self-healing. Pattenden’s aim is to teach others to integrate the comprehensive tools she’s learned through her practice that will, in the short-term, better equip them to manage daily stressors and, ultimately, enable them to live fully engaging, healthy and authentic lives.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: #f3f3f3; font-family: &amp;quot;Courier New&amp;quot;,Courier,monospace; font-size: large;"&gt;Hers is not a quick fix approach. One does not become healthy overnight. In the case of biological evolution, there are signs of a decline within a species after it has peaked and begins to move toward the end of its dominating phase. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;However, we are witnessing an incredible, exciting and challenging time in human evolution: an emerging consciousness of body and spirit, merging with matter and energy, physics and metaphysics.
